Alistair Gray
Alistair is a director of Renaissance & Co and is one of Europe’s leading strategic management consultants.

His clients include a number of leading multi-national PLCs and sporting organisations such as the International Cricket Council, The Football Association, ECB, Cricket Australia, the Scottish FA, FAI, Lawn Tennis Association, UK Sport and Sport England.

Prior to founding Genesis in 1991, Alistair was a Director of PA Consulting Group and Arthur Young (now Ernst and Young) Management Consultants. He has led numerous strategy development and implementation projects for global clients. His particular strengths lie in a facilitative approach, frequently exploiting the use of technology, major acquisition and diversification and strategic alliance assignments.

Over the last 8 years he has served as Chair of British Basketball and British Swimming leading significant change in both sports. He has also recently been appointed Executive Chairman of the Winning Scotland Foundation, set up to be a catalyst to young people adopting sport as a tool for life. He is also Chairman of Edrington's Pension Trustees, responsible for management of a major private pension fund.

Outside of work Alistair is passionate about all things sport, as player or spectator. A studier of strategic management and writer of articles on that subject and reader of novels when on vacation. He also has a strong interest in nature and the environment and enjoys travelling with Sheila and spending an increasing amount of time visiting interesting parts of the world. The arrival of grandchildren, Daniel and Kirsten has added a new and wonderful dimension to life.
